Family Fun – Two Day Screen Printing Course

One of my two day screen printing courses this Summer has been with a lovely family (mum and two daughters), they had a great time learning to screen print whilst spending time together. They all produced some great prints, below is a selection of what they produced.

“Thank you so much for a great two days. We learned so much and were very pleased with what we did. It is great to learn in a small group so that everyone can get on at their own pace and I am sure that with your notes we will be able to do some printing at home.”

If you are interested in attending one of my screen printing courses, please take a look at my workshops: www.paulatew.co.uk/studioworkshops or get in touch via 07889119907 or paula@paulatew.co.uk and please be aware that I will only be running these until the end of the year as I will be going on maternity leave at the end of December.

” I had been trying to find a screen printing course for some time before discovering Paula’s 2 day course, and what a fabulous 2 days we had. I learnt so much and now have enough confidence to do my own prints at home, enjoying every moment. Paula is patient, encouraging and inspirational, can’t recommend her enough.” Sarah Harmer

“Paula, A huge thanks for a really excellent course!
Everything about it was just right : you didn’t rush us, you shared your resources with generosity, you made us all feel ‘able’ , you plied us with tea and carrot cake and really I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Two days was the right length of course for me and I think it was excellent value….I couldn’t believe I got the three screens as well!
I wholeheartedly recommend the course and hope our paths cross again.
Thank you and very best of wishes to you,
Izzi Ellerby x”

“Thank you Paula for such an enjoyable weekend workshop, everything was just brilliant.   Our little group was so friendly and relaxed, and the two days just whizzed by.  I was nervous about trying something new but can honestly say your tuition was fabulous and I have come away with some new skills that I can’t wait to use in my artistic work.” Sheena Spacey www.facebook.com/SheeShuArts

Happy New Year!

I love this time of year, apart from getting chance to spend some valuable time with family and friends, it’s great time for feeling optimistic, renewed and full of hope for the year ahead… this year is no exception. I am really looking forward to starting the research and work for the planned Japanese exhibition in April, as well as filling my diary with lots of other exciting projects.

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I am really looking forward to to 2012. I have just had some exciting news from the Arts Council, they are going to support a Japanese exhibition I am planning for April 2012, which is fantastic….. I will reveal more in the new year.
